In March, the ministry led a “Pillows for the Homeless” drive. These were new plastic wrapped pillows to ensure protection against COVID and other threats. Over 100 pillows, as well as monetary gifts, were donated by members to be delivered to those in need.
The collection process continued throughout the entire month of March. Then the ministry began distribution to shelters, churches, other missions centered organizations in Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach Virginia. Recipients include:

Thank you to the members of Olive Grove Baptist Church, Harmony Chapter #23 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the 757 Sophisticated Steppers who gave monies and pillows so generously to this work. Thank you to the members, Trustees, and Deacons of Olive Grove who assisted with the storage and distribution of pillows.
