We are in the Season of Lent
On Wednesday, February 22nd we entered the 2023 Lenten season. We pause to commemorate the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert enduring temptation by Satan (Matthew 4). It is our personal time to forsake ourselves and invest in drawing closure to God. How are you progressing with your Lenten sacrifices? Are you becoming heathier in your time of fasting? Are you drawing closer to God through your prayers and study of His word? Have you noticed any changes? Received more blessings?
Remember, Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for us all. How are we honoring Him? We often hear that there is strength in numbers. How wonderful it would be if we all sacrificed and participated in the Lent 2023 challenge together? It is never too late to join with us. Join with us and get ready to shout Hosanna on Palm Sunday, and bless Him on Easter with your sacrificial offerings!
